Questions people ask

Which attendance machines work?

ZKTeco machines that can send over the internet (Cloud Server / ADMS) and Hikvision face terminals connect directly. Older machines on your office network work through our small office program, and any machine’s file can be uploaded.

Does a computer need to stay on?

Not for machines that send over the internet: they send punches straight to Codify HR. Only older machines on the office network need the office program on one computer.

How is the salary worked out?

From the month’s attendance: present, late, half and absent days and leave, with allowances, deductions and advances. You check the sheet before you finalise it.

Can staff see each other’s salaries?

No. Salaries and bank details are seen only by the users you allow.

We already use Codify. Can we add HR?

Yes. Add the HR add-on from your Subscription page for $7.22 a month, and Human Resource appears in the same login.

What happens when the trial ends?

Choose Starter or Standard and carry on with everything you entered. Nothing is lost.
